Frustrated by the lack of opportunities for children and families to experience good quality outdoor learning, Jess wanted to ensure that her passion for the outdoors was available to all. Having seen the direct benefits of being outdoors to the children in her care, as a school teacher, Jess was adamant that all children should have the chance to experience the wonders of the natural world in an informative yet self directed learning opportunity.
After qualifying as a Level 3 Forest School Leader and further developing these skills with Beach School training, Jess began to ponder on the idea of setting up her own business. When the opportunity arose in 2019, Fresh Air Learning was born!
Guided learning sessions at our local coast provide an opportunity to explore wild life, develop interests and build on life skills.
Each session has a theme and activities and learning are focussed around this.
With a free learning approach to Forest School, each session offers the chance to experience something new and build on skills already developed. Risk and play are a huge part of each session with adapted support to encourage and engage all participants.
1:1 sessions for children with language, social or emotional needs, autism, behaviour challenges, ADHD or just because your child loves the outdoors are available with Jess. She is a qualified teacher with experience in supporting and managing autistic and ADHD diagnosed children. Jess will tailor the sessions to benefit your child.
